SYNOPSIS

This film triptych deals with prostitutes in Thailand, Mexico, and Bangladesh. The stories are about longings, hopes, and needs " those of these women themselves and those they fulfill for others " about the brutalities they experience and those they impose. The premise of the film is that these women can tell us more about the relationships between men and women than anyone else, for these women have physically, mentally, and emotionally experienced all that can take place between a man and a woman.

They have awakened desires, spurned passions, fulfilled fantasies, and allayed fears. For this they have always received money, but it has not made their lives rich in anything but stories and history.
