In Luxembourg, banking supervision was instituted in 1945, immediately after the Second World War. In the mid-1960s, this authority had 4 employees - today, the CSSF (Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier) has more than 900. An eventful history that unfolds in parallel with the meteoric development of the financial center and passes review the financial scandals, the crises that we did not see coming, the gradual implementation of increasingly strict and international regulations, the fight against money laundering, the elimination of banking secrecy. On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the supervision of the financial center, it is through the memories of those who were directly involved in it that this documentary retraces an unprecedented adventure.
